Nudie Juice Shot Digestive review
Here we will give a hands-on, taste-tested review of the Nudie Juice Shot Digestive. We’ll look into the benefits, ingredients, nutrition and flavour of this healthy gut shot with lots of fibre.
This 60ml gut shot is available in Australia in Woolworths stores and some other supermarkets.
Ingredients of Nudie Juice Shot Digestive
Similar to Nudie’s Juice Shot Antioxidant, this gut shot is very natural and I can’t fault any of the ingredients.
Specifically it has apple juice (33%), orange juice (22%), soluble fibre (tapioca starch) (14%), carrot juice (10%), ginger juice (10%), beetroot juice (7%), lemon juice (4%) and vitamin C.
The various juices are also not from concentrates. And there is no added sugar, flavours, colours or preservatives.
As you can see it’s a high quality product.
Benefits of Nudie Juice Shot Digestive
This gut shot comes with various health benefits, especially in terms of fibre and nutrients from the fruit juices.
Fibre
The various juices as well as the added tapioca starch provide prebiotic fibre for your gut. These prebiotic fibres will feed the good bacteria in your gut and help them multiply to create a healthy microbiome.
This gut shot has an impressive 2.8g of dietary fibre.

Antioxidants
Various ingredients including beetroot juice, carrot juice, ginger juice and the vitamin C are high in antioxidants which help your body fight off harmful free radicals and reduce inflammation.
Appearance
It is bright red and murky. You can see bits of pulp in it which is a great sign of it being natural and full of fibre!
Texture
It has a very full mouthfeel from the tapioca starch and the natural fruit sugars.
Flavour
The aroma is appealing with apple, beetroot and citrus coming through most.
There’s a lot going on in the taste! What I notice most is the beetroot and a fairly strong heat/spiciness from the ginger. I wasn’t expecting such a ginger heat but I probably should have considering it is 10% ginger juice. The ginger lingers on the tongue as does an apple and citrus aftertaste.
Overall the taste is great, with the ginger making it refreshing and providing an invigorating kick.
Cost of Nudie Juice Shot Digestive
The shot sells for $3.60 in Woolworths - which I think is pretty good value considering the health benefits.
